Management. Held numerous management positions over past 25 years. Provided leadership for a startup software firm and operational leadership for an environmental firm in the Oil & Gas market. Established a new Condition and Performance Monitoring business for a large multi-national company. Developed a new strategic business unit by hiring sales, marketing and product engineering resources. Accountable for commercial and legal issues of client orders. Led the engineering department for a rotating equipment control company, responsible for product development, implementation and sustainability. Managed a small software firm specializing in rotating equipment controls.
 
Business Development. Provided business development leadership for businesses during career. Developed strategic regional and country specific initiatives, including agents, representatives and distributors. Provided technical and market direction of suite of products and services. Grew startup business to revenues over $2MM within two years. Instituted business direction based on market conditions.

Technical. A solid technical base established the foundation for business strategies. Supervised the software and hardware development of embedded systems and client  software for multiple products, including PC environments. Developed capital funding proposals and justifications for products. Forged the use of product development outsource firms to better utilize resources, allowing for faster market penetration.

Sales and Marketing. Duties included worldwide sales and marketing activities. Managed strategic product and worldwide sales effort, supervised a global team of sales people and local marketing personnel. Also directed a Europe, Middle East and Africa sales and service organization. Provided regional coverage as well as managing the transition of the service organization in Asia Pacific. Provided direction for a local Asian company to enter the world-wide market.
